The El Rey del Mundo La Reina is a highly anticipated cigar released exclusively for the UK market in 2018. This cigar features the Laguito No. 1 vitola, measuring 7 1/2 inches (192 mm) in length with a 38-ring gauge. It is meticulously hand-rolled at the famous El Laguito factory in Havana, known for producing Cohiba Lanceros and other prestigious cigars.

The La Reina was crafted as a tribute to the elegant and delicate flavors of the El Rey del Mundo brand, making it accessible to both seasoned aficionados and newcomers. This particular size, Laguito No. 1, was first created by Eduardo Rivera and famously presented to Fidel Castro in 1963. The production of La Reina involves the most skilled torcedors at El Laguito, ensuring each cigar meets high standards of quality and consistency.

Only 3,500 boxes of La Reina were produced, making it a limited and highly sought-after release. These cigars were made available through La Casa del Habano stores and selected UK retailers, bars, clubs, and restaurants from July 2018.
